Spider Extermination Removal Control

Fear of spiders is consistently ranked as one of the top phobias in America. Whether it is an evolutionary trigger that kept our ancestors alive or the result of Hollywood horror films, spiders have a reputation as being creepy, crawly, venomous pests.

The population of spiders are dictated by the number of bugs and insects for them to prey on. That’s why spraying around the foundation and perimeter of the home will not work as it only targets the spiders, not covering other bugs and insects that the spiders are feasting on. At Habitat Pest Control, we get rid of spiders, at the same time we offer effective and affordable ant control.

The 7 most common spiders we treat for are:

  • Wolf Spider
  • Brown Recluse
  • Black Widow
  • Yellow Sac Spider
  • Jumping Spider
  • Hobo Spider
  • Daddy Long Legs

Danger: A spider infestation can cause contamination of food in kitchens or pantries, and depending on the species, there could be health risks if family members unexpectedly happen upon a web or lurking spider. Spiders that might injure people—for example, black widows—generally spend most of their time hidden outside homes in wood piles or in clutter in the garage. The spiders commonly seen out in the open during the day are unlikely to bite people.

Prevention Tips: Clear clutter and trim back shrubs and bushes where they nest and harbor reduces a good reason for them to be there in the first place. Remove cobwebs is a good technique to assist in a pest treatment application as it forces the spiders to migrate and crawl over the treated area.  Work with your Habitat professional as a team to help maintain your spider problems at a minimum.

Free Inspection: Our inspectors are trained to identify the type of spiders lurking around your home. Once a spider infestation is identified and the structure examined, your inspector will design a custom treatment plan to get rid of them.
